Publications & Blog

Since its establishment in 2021, ISAC has been committed to supporting academics and researchers interested in the social scientific study of Asian Catholics in making their findings more widely visible and recognized. This commitment is expressed through multiple avenues (podcast, press articles, online recordings, etc.), including the coordination and support of academic publications.

In 2024, ISAC coordinators launched a book series with the University of Pittsburgh Press, Contemporary Asian Catholics, which aligns closely with ISAC’s core mission. The first volume in this series originates from our 2022 conference, generously supported by the Asia Research Institute.

Below is a list of additional academic publications that have emerged from ISAC activities and collaborations, as well as our blog, The Observatory.
